Oleksiy Pecherov is the Guest of Honor at the fifth annual Washington Ukrainian Festival in Silver Spring, Maryland at Saint Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. Pecherov talks with Wizards Magazine Jumoke Davis about this annual event, the traditional Ukrainian food, the growing popularity of basketball in Ukraine, and also shows off a little Ukrainian dance moves.

Gilbert Arenas (#6 in red jersey) showed up to ball at Berry Farms’ Goodman League in Southeast DC. Kudos to Dan Steinberg’s BogTV.

This morning Wizards Dancers Tara and Myra joined the “Sports Junkies” to promote the 2007-08 Wizards Dance Team Auditions coming up this weekend.
