Game Day Cavaliers Game Six
Friday, May 2nd, 20086:00AM…Dave Johnson checking in…BLOGCAST is back tonight and starts at 7…of course my dream was for the Wizards to have a chance to clinch the series in game six at home on a Friday night…but the commitment of this team has given Wizards fans a chance for another great memory…in a lot of ways it is probably best that Gilbert’s status is now clear…when the Wizards beat the Sixers in the final week of the season to clinch the fifth seed Gil was the difference.. he was the game changer..I thought he would be in this series and he was in game one but just not healthy enough to do it on a consistent basis…moving forward to me and my partner Glenn Consor the key is rebounding…had the Wizards been more competitive on the boards in game four they would have won…it still is amazing the Wizards only lost by three–even though they were outrebounded by 20….smart on offense…hit the boards.. and we very well could be going to Cleveland on Sunday…..BLOGCAST starts at 7…hope you can join us…..
UPDATE: Well fans your not going to like to hear this but the NBA has decided to suspend Darius Songaila for game 6 due to the technical foul he received in game 5.

6:06 AM….Dave Johnson checking in early and eager to get this one started….It was an upbeat mood at practice yesterday…Wizards know they had game one but let it slip away..we could question shots late…but one three point attempt by Jamison was in the flow of the game and he was wide open and more often than not that would have gone down….posturing going on…heard Cavs coach Mike Brown talk about LeBron James getting fouled when he drives but the fouls not getting called…he did get to the line 14 times…. when asked about what constitutes a traveling violation after watching James on Saturday head coach Eddie Jordan smiled and offered no comment…sprained right wrist by Gilbert Arenas is a concern keep your fingers crossed….BLOGCAST starts at 7…radio and blogging and you can listen online too….check back later
