Ive also been saying the Dray at 5, Book at 4 thing. Even if you dont start it, why dont we see it more? It never makes any sense to me. They take McGee out & bring Seraphin in when I thought Book & Dray were the perfect matchup for teams like the Warriors and someone else we recently played. I just dont get Flip’s & Randy’s rotations. Thats why they have to go. Dont get me wrong, you have to play Seraphin too as he’s playing well but lets see more of the Dray-Book combo

wow. no one can stop love from getting rebounds but booker really put up an amazing fight.
LOL i couldn’t stop laughing when he shoved love out of the court after boxing him out. even though he got called for a foul… it was pretty funny
those two put back dunks were amazing.
granted, he did get a running start… but still. a “running start” alone won’t allow someone to be a foot above everyone else. this guy is a freak (AND he’s been sick…)
blatche has definitely been playing better as of late.
i still like jordan crawford. i think we should give him some more time. right now i think his biggest flaw is his poor shot selection. he REALLY wasn’t getting any calls last night, i felt bad for the guy

Anyone else afraid that the Wizards have never been able to defend players like Charlie V. and Austin Daye, ‘big’ man that can shoot?

Hey fellow bloggers, I’m in Key West (nice here) and had to miss last night’s win (and I’ll miss tonight’s win too!!!!!).
From the numbers, looks like great games last night from Wall and Booker. Trevor Booker is just *tearing it up!* If he continues along these lines, he’ll be the biggest draft bargain outside of Landry!
Not seeing much from Jordan Crawford yet, unfortunately.

Looking forward to seeing Monroe. He has been awesome lately which makes me sad since the Pistons fans were ripping him so much that I actually dont think they deserve him. Also really looking forward to seeing a pretty healthy Wall vs Stuckey. Stuckey has killed him before and Stuckey is hot now but Wall is healthy and playing more like he did in the SL, Preseaon, & early part of the regular season. Is it me or did we go from seeing Wall getting easily beat on D by scrubs let alone stars every single game to not really remembering anyone beating him often of late. The bottom line is he wasnt healthy.
PS- You guys always know what I feel about situations like this. They say NY is going to play and the Pistons start BG. Post NY all game until they stop it. Right from the jump. If he sucks or settles then go away but he’s too good of a post player for us not to take advantage of those small guys guarding him. With that being said, he has to be smarter and take full advantage and not just settle

“Landry” = Landry Fields, obviously.
I heard the other day about someone whose parents misspelled the name they intended for him on the birth certificate form at the hospital. He wound up with the first name of “Laundry.”
True story….

I agree with Tyrone, it should kill our players to lose games. Pride should be enough, but I have said that we should set some goals like finishing .500 at home and winning more road games.

this game is simple. Everytime we play team ball we outscore them. Everytime we play one on one with the blinders on, they dominate us. Move the ball, take good shots, and make smart plays. Its not that hard, except for the low IQ Wizards

Dray is a plus 8 in a game that we are losing by double figures. If he can go the whole 4th then maybe we can come back but we instantly suck in this game everytime he goes out

They are talking about Wall’s rebounding these last 2 games and he has that in him. He’s already averaging 4.3 or something and you would want our bigs to board more but at the same time Wall has enough hops, is quick enough, and aggressive enough to get nearly 6 boards per game and I think he’s starting to realize that he can have that prime Jason Kidd type impact where he can pull the boards down & go with it and no one is going to stop him if he does that

well one thing’s for sure, if we lose this game you cant say we didnt have our chances. There have been like 10x where we couldve cut the lead to 2 or something just for us to miss a shot we couldve made and then they score like 5 straight right back in a sec.

This team is a a lot more fun to watch since the new blood came in – Mo and Jordan. The ball moves better than when Heinrich was here. He had a tendancy to over dribble.
I though the Wiz played a good second half. The Pistons made a bunch of tough shots that could not be overcome.

Why we started Mo Evans last night is beyond me. What has he done that should give him minutes over, for example, Cartier Martin?
We were outrebounded by 16 last night. Almost impossible to win when you give the other team 16 more possessions.
So far, Jordan Crawford looks to be little more than a jumpshooter. He went 3-10, got only 1 rebound, and didn’t get to the line at all. He needs some coaching.
Bah!

The Wizards priority should be to end their losing ways not just giving minutes to players to develope a pro game. As I said last year the losing can easily carry over for years. People like to dismiss those four straight years of making the playoffs. That should be the goal. They need to focus on winning games and I hope they are not positioning for ping pong balls…

@Tom Crawford goes hard to the hole but is a rookie and gets NO calls. He actually isn’t a bad passer either, but he deffinetlly does have alot to learn.
Cartier Martin makes me think of Mitchell Butler…………I don’t know if thats good or bad lol I loved the way Mitchel Butler played hard every game. He was actually our starter one year cause we were sooooooooobad and after we were done with him I don’t think he ever played anywhere else in the league lol probobly speaks volumes for how bad we were lol
Our defensive rotations last night were some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Javale hasn’t got a clue about what the hell he is supposed to do. With all the gifted athletes on our team that play down low, there is no reason why we can’t play man. Our bigs are athletic enough where they should be switching on picks instead of that half assed crap that Blatche and Mcgee have been doing the last couple of games

Even with Randy Wittman we don’t get to see the players we want to see. It’s a conspiracy lol.
I want to see “as much of” John Wall, Jordan Crawford (another raw hustle player… I like hustle players), Trevor Booker, and Kevin Serapin as is humanly possible. Rest Howard and Lewis… they are done for the year. Give guys like Tupak and Cartier significant minutes to see if they are worth an off season offer.
We aren’t even close, but, with 2 first round draft picks and a 2nd rounder too… I like how things are coming around.
