Josh Boone’s Wikipedia page — http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Boone — says he’s unrestricted. I’m guessing this page is maintained by his agent’s staff, so…

Also, although the hoopshype nj salaries page lists him on the roster, in fact the salary total does *not* include his qualifying offer.

The Nets site lists 14 players with uni numbers and also lists Boone, Trent Hassell, Jarvis Hayes and Chris Quinn w/o uni numbers and marked as Free Agents.

I think Boone is unrestricted.

Joey Dorsey — he is a good player. A tremendous rebounder especially. If he does wind up being waived, he’d be a very good pick up for us.

Josh Boone — he is listed on the nj roster at hoopshype as having a qualifying offer of @ $3m. I guess they’d be able to match, and obviously the qual. offer is the minimum.

neal — I think that, yes, Cartier Martin is a restricted FA. I.e. I think that’s what the qual. offer means.

Someone explain to me what we did for Cartier Martin that we didn’t do for Cedric Jackson. I don’t think we can make Martin a restricted FA.

dcb — I can’t quite figure out whether Boone is restricted or not. The hoopsworld doesn’t mention that — and does in the case of at least one other guy. NJ might not have tendered him his qualifying offer.

The only consolation right now is that it’s still early. the other side of the story is that as tom stated, if we get rid of our 2nd round pick, it’s sad. But if we don’t get rid of him, we will probably have to get rid of Martin or Hudson, or both. Dleague still counts toward your overall roster (i.e. i believe on the same level as i.r.)

The nets can match offers for Boone, correct?
