Cavs are 2-2, not 0-2. Should be a great game.

I love Randy Foye’s attitude. I remember in the summer GABBO was harpin’ on how Foye wasn’t a throw in for the trade. While I never really thought that, I’ll give GABBO credit in saying I didn’t understand his value. I could care less what he did in MN (numbers wise), this 45 sec player interview and his performance in the past three games has made me an absolute fan.
Can I also say I think we did as good as anybody in terms of offseason moves. Foye, Miller, and Oberto are all amazing players and now I can’t even imagine this team without them.

DELONTE WEST IS MAGNIFICENT AND DEADLY IF HIS MINDSET IS RIGHT AND I THINK IT IS WE MAY HAVE TO PUT DESHAWN ON HIM PERMANENTLY! I EXPECT THE TWIN TOWERS WILL PLAY EARLY AND OFTEN TO SEE HOW WE MATCH UP. SOFTY AND BIG DADDY SHAQ WILL BE A MAJOR OBSTACLE FOR US LOGISTICALLY SO WE HAVE OUR HANDS FULL! WE HAVE TO PLAY SMART AND EFFICIENT WITH THEM . WE NEED TO FEED OURSELVES FROM THE FREETHROWLINE ALL NIGHT AND HIT OUR THREES PLUS TRY TO OUTREBOUND THE BEHEMOTHS.

We beat the Cavs twice last season and the third game (Christmas Day) was stolen from us by the Refs. I would like to see us get all three games this season. Let’s hope the refs don’t try to take it again.
Go Wizards!

Wow, no that’s a lethal starting line up! Man we are going to run the Cavs out of the building, no way Big Shaq can run the floor with our bigs, if we can keep an up tempo pace, and not a grind out half court game, we should come out with a win!

I am always a little worried to play the Cavs because of all the questionable calls that come out of those games.

Right on Jeff.. that line up even looks like a monster on paper but when you put AB in off the bench its like throwing a match in a gas rivier and i can wait to see it catch fire and burn em up.. GO Wizards

Wiz Turn Heads: I’m watching the Nets-Bobcats on the free preview of NBA leaguepass. The Nets commentators (specifically Mike Fratello) were raving about the Wizards at the start of the game. Fratello was amazed at Blatche’s performance. He said he can’t remember someone shooting that well and scoring that many points without taking a single 3pt shot or free throw. Ian Eagle said Blatche looked like a star. Props to both those guys for the kind words.
Jeff, you are right about Shaq, but Z too. Both of them have really slowed down and if we run there is no way they’ll keep up. If we make the extra pass on the break, no way BronBron will get his signature blocks.

Big game and a bunch of trash talking coming from my cousin if the cavs win..But i like our chances we have more offense power than they do..Plus our D is playing just as good as cleavlands if not better…any info on jamison and his return and would he be coming off the bench now that Fab has been a real spark in the starting 5..I think that would be best for now and would just make our bench that much stronger!!

JayP, Jamison will not be coming off the bench. They are only going to play him when he is healthy. For at least two more seasons Jamison will never come off the bench. The best Fab can hope for is for Miller to come off the bench and for Caron and Jamison to each drop down a position, which I think would be an awesome lineup.

I remind you guys that Oberto is 35. He needs to average 15min/game this year and have something left for the playoffs. He’s doing more (not that much more) because Antawn is down. A terrific player, however — no doubt about that.
So far all three of the off-season acquisitions are looking good. May it continue!!

McgeeManiac I couldn’t agree more. Some of “those” calls that favor his highness are often very questionable. Let’s hope tomorrow night they are willing to call a crab dribble a travel.
Foye was never a “throw in”. Too much press about how Ernie felt his game was so close to Gilbert’s plus defense lol. At the time who knew Gilbert’s knee would be as sound as it seems to be.
Foye, Miller, and Oberto have filled more than three voids all being able to play multiple positions. That trade has made us very deep and serious contenders.
Oberto has averaged 14 minutes a game over his career in San Antonio because he fouled so much. It seems with Flips offense and defense Oberto has found home. He can really flourish in Flips schemes and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him average 17 to 20 a night in certian circumstances. 35 isn’t that old. Just ask Antawn
I’m betting that when we win tomorrow night the blog will set a brand new record
GO WIZARDS

IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME
LeBron is a superstar, so he’s going to get the favor from the refs, he won’t be the first, and he won’t be the last….don’t leave the game in the refs hands, get a decisive win, so the refs won’t make a difference
This team is the best Wizard’s team that they have faced, since Gil has come to the wizards, so they’re right, it isn’t a rivalry….lol….let’s show them we’re better and don’t see them as a threat…LOL….

big game for the zards’ and fans. i hope we bring our A game. this is a chance to show just how much potential we have being matched up against an elite team even though their 0-2. plus they have been kicking us around for a while and it would be nice to show that were no longer the pushovers its a different type of monster now for the pink elephant in the room, and most of all deshawn back in haterville lol i hope he locks whomever they put in front of him and hits every shot he takes so that he can wave his hand across his face all night long!!!!! and also we finally get to see gil play against lebron at almost full strength. they got their gun slinger and we got ours.
