In-Game Videos
SportzWiz checking in…As I said last week, Andray Blatche was in to do his in-game video shoot, Fabricio Oberto did his shoot following his press conference and Mike Miller did his video shoot today (the rest of the players will be shooting their videos in the next month or so)
In these videos, the players were asked to identify the movie that goes with the song they are listening too (the first clip shows Oberto and he is listening to Bohemian Rhapsody and it relates to Waynes World). The players also did some this or that and answered other questions about teammates or some of their favorite things.
Click here to check out some behind-the-scenes videos of the shoot.

Tom they did it last year with tv shows, it turns out very well in game (when you can hear the music)…
It might surprise a few people, but Oberto has been by far the best at it.

Obviously, I was joking — we just have to keep talking about trades and… more trades ???

It was great to read all the passion of the opinions on Andray from the last posting. At least we know one thing, everyone has an opinion on his performance.
Here is my outlook on the Andray outlook for this year:
HE HAS NO ROOM FOR ERROR THIS YEAR. HE HAS TO COME ON STRONG STRAIGHT FROM CAMP TO THE START OF THE SEASON.
The whole team is back. Brendan is back and in a contract year. He is going to punch and fight to as many minutes as he can get. Javale is the young stud who is going to be given every opportunity to get as many minutes as possible. Javale is so athletic that do not be surprised if he gets minutes at the 4. When Antawn and Caron are on the floor (which will be alot) Andray will be on the bench because Antawn will play the 4. We just got Fabricio and he is going to get some minutes.
If Andray does not come out fighting like a bulldog and play consistently well (don’t take nights or plays off) then I think Flip will just move on without him.
With 14 quality players on the roster Flip does not need to waste time on players who are not going to give it night in and night out.
It’s all up to you Andray!

I wouldnt be surprised if andray has a big year in 2010. He dominated in the summer league and knows where his future stands if he doesnt come up big. I think his confidence is up and his maturity at the end of last season started to show improvement. if he can develop a more consistant mid-range jumper and bulks up a little he can be very effective.
with all that said I still dont understand why ernie doesnt look into trading antwan for boozer. That would be the piece to grow this team from playoff contenders to champion contender. that would give us that bulk we lack in the front court on the defensive end. think: it would be
1 Gil
2 miller/nick/foye
3 caron
4 boozer
5 haywood
Thats a hell of a starting line up. I dont care which starts at the 2 guard. thats golden anyway you look at it.

So this is what it’s come to in the off-season, huh. From “Dagger, and the Wizards win a close one!” we’ve declined to “name that tune.”
Oh well…
