good comment sir! but i must go skip bayless on this one. YES this loss gets the finger pointed at eddie. that switch in the fourth quarter killed us. for a minute the bench was scoring but houston sub-ed in tmac n yao and we kept our bench in and it ate us up. blatche u r right on he definitely played excellent defense on yao, but imma give credit to the rookie too! and i must slap myself cause the rookie will help us out! i thought he would suck! someone said send in nick young..... uhhm no all he would do is what juan did, thats shoot the j without strategy lol, just fire away! but i loved the energy from dee brown he made the whole starting lineup move! it was groovey baby! they had their mojo for 3 quarters. someone said trade caron and jamison. i think their is no way u trade caron. is just keeps getting better year in and year out. but jalen rose finally made a good point last night. all n all we have three all stars which only two other teams have in this league so we must do better. we definitely need some durability. but as far as out surrounding ammo.... deshawn, haywood, blatche, young, dominic, AD, mcgee and so on, i am content that is very good help, the big 3 just has too be big, right now anything less than 20 from each of them will not cut it unless they are playing lock down D! n hey yall gotta go see that bernie mac movie man....... it is hilarious! well its classic weekend down here in florida.... im bout to go rep for all my sigmaz out there........ BLUE PHIIIIIIIIII!!!!! lol

Hey guys.

I just want to say we had a great three quarters in the game. Energy was there. Defense was there.

Fourth quarter really shocked me. The small lineup really hurt the chances of winning-Rockets had all of their starters in (with exception of Landry) and I thought at the 9/10 minute mark of the quarter Eddie would have done the same by putting the starters in and let them finish the show. I think Eddie came in a little too late by bringing in the starters because Rockets got extremely hot.

**I think its fine to point out a weakness in a coach as well. Everyone does make mistakes. Just because he's the coach doesn’t exempt him from anything. You know I was listening to the radio (Wiz Radio) and it seemed (to me) that whenever the line-up or anything related to the coach comes up, an immediate rush of disagreement comes from Glen. We all know he is the longest tenured coach; he took the team the playoffs four times...etc whatever... But everyone can improve their actions including the coach. The starting fourth quarter lineup was crazy. Even Mark Jackson and Van Gundy knew it. They stated it at least several times (Not a good lineup) and guess what? Rockets went on a run.

What I'm trying to say is that it's not all just the players, the coach/ing staff need and should step up too. If that is being a hater on EJ-Then...Well...Whatever

I want to also mention that Blatche (despite what everyone says...) Was the best defender on Yao in the post. NO ONE mentioned that he guarded in front of Yao, NO ONE mentioned that his defense on Yao prevented points for Rockets and created some great plays. He had a great overall game last night. Maybe if encouragement could come from the staff we will be able to see more of this from him.

One more thing. The development of our Rookies is troubling me. I think that we have to get some play out of Pech and McGuire before it’s too late. Those are great players we could have in the rotation but if nothing happens...Well the guy that called in on the radio show said it best that they will go to another team and dominate.

We have the talent, we have the team.

GO WIZ!!!!!!!!

Peace out j50

Dixon made a couple of shots and thought he could carry the team. I didn't like that when Arenas tried to do that; I like it a whole lot less when Juan Dixon tries to do it.

I just read in the Washington Post that the coaching staff did, in fact, want Javale to front Yao. He should have done what they said. That is a much better way for Javale to play guys until he gains another 20lbs.

The Wiz really need a win tonight against the shorthanded Knicks. It's red alert time.

On the other end, they [the Rockets] would also do this [double, triple team] to Juan, because, within seconds, they figured out that he’s just gonna shoot the ball and not pass.

Also, I guess that I’ll be in that category of a “fake” Wizards fan??? Well, not really. I criticize Vinny (the Bulls coach) too, as well as D’Antoni all because of this whole Marbury thing. I like to call it ‘being fair’ and objective. (Speaking of objectivity – or lack there of) I sure hope that with the game tonight, I’ll be listening to the New York announcers because I don’t know what’s up with the Wiz one’s lately…

I question the defensive strategy on Yao. Andray had success fronting him, why didn't Javale front him? When Andray fronted him, Yao had to reposition himself further from the hoop to get the ball. So far away in fact that you didn't need to double team him.

Because Javale is just a 20 year old kid who gets pushed around by the bigger guys it would be a better strategy for him to front these players. With his length and jumping ability it would be a very tough entry pass to make. The coaching staff should have already thought of this. Last night the defense failed becaus they shooters open for target practice because of the need to double and triple team Yao.
