heh
tom, it’s actually very good, just some small mistakes -> “Guten Morgen meine Freunde. Wie geht’s? Sind wir bereit fuer unser Spiel?”
Sadly i won’t be able to catch the game live, would be a ~8h drive for me (I’m south of munich, bavaria, other end of germany)..and that’s kinda hard without a car and without having much money right now ;>
But I’ll gather all my friends and watch it on german tv, maybe i can convice them to become wiz fans too or somthn…
LETS GO!

First part is correct. however, the last part should be: “weil meine Eltern aus Wien stammen.” I know, German grammar is very tough for foreigners.
Phemy
I’m from BW (baden-wuertemberg, south of Germany too). Luckily I will attend the game. I will root for you aswell. :>
Dave
I will be in Berlin only for tuesday. Will the team be anywhere before the game where a diehard fan like me could see them? ;>
And it would be awesome to chat some words with you and Glenn before the game. :>

Sorry I haven’t been on the blog in a few days; been busy with school. I know this is old news, but it’s sad to see Haywood will be out for months. This just means that our younger guys need to step up more; which most of them have. I’ve been real impressed with McGee…….didn’t know he was a great consistent scorer. I think Blatche has improved, but can do better. Songaila needs to step up his intensity; he needs to be a better rebounder and set up screens for our guys to score. In my opinion, if I were Eddie Jordan, I would sit out Jamison and Butler for the rest of preseason…..I mean we’ve already lost Arenas and Haywood for quite some time, so why risk two of our other starting 5? In reality, preseason doesn’t really matter…It just gives teams general ideas of how they will match up against teams that have added players…..I think it’s stupid to put in your starting 5 and tire them out before the season starts, they should practice with the team, and just rest for what really counts: the season!

No, Tom, I missed it when I was in Spain. I’ll take your word for it. I really liked the rest of Spain. I lived in Panama, Mexico and South Texas.

Poor skinz, but it was a very exciting game regardless.

Wizfan4life, 10 or 15 minutes a game ideally shouldn’t hurt anyone. Do you see any other team in the league not playing their starters? Having other team injuries is inconsequential to Caron’s and AJ’s already limited preseason minutes. Keeping them fresh is important. Timidity is not the answer.

Just checking in to say hi
I’m looking forward to Bex having some photos or video; hope Bex can put up links for all to enjoy
Those who are physically in Germany and Spain for these two Wiz games – enjoy yourselves and hopefully the organization can somehow make the players accessible to fans
I was hoping Nick would be in the line-up but his time will come; Juan and Dee are wanted to be seen as a combination; JaVale and Dee have some really good chemistry along with other quicker players; go defense but lets have some more offense, too!!
AB let’s see you do your thang without so many fouls; and team let’s roll with out the turnovers; go veterns use your experience and great talents well and help to keep the younger ones grounded and well versed in Wizard tradition; Coaches remember all you do will pay huge dividends come playoffs; and fans let’s continue to support the team through these injuries and early season combinations!! Go, Wizards, Go!!! Enjoy Europe and have FUN because come Tuesday you go to work!!!

DJ wizardsradio will Juan be playing in these next two games?
We have all been evaluating Juan and Dermarr lately. What about Linton Johnson and his chances of his making the team compared to Juan and Dermarr?
