Top 3 Moments of the Year
Hey everyone, we got two days to go before the playoffs (I love the 12:30 start!). I want to hear your top three moments of the season.
I’m going with
DeShawn’s game-winning 3.
Caron’s return for his birthday
And of Course the wins over Boston.

There’s many, but my 3 are:
1) Twan’s 3 freethrows (as Phemy brought up)
2) AD’s dunk against Boston just recently
3) That January 27th game against Milwaukee because I was there and it was just sooo intense. I’ll never forget that….Even though they lost that one, they just played with so much passion.
**And I’m not even worried about Barkley’s comments; I just think that he (well they) are trying to get to us mentally because they know that if they get to us mentally, that there’s a chance of us losing.

my top 3:
1. D steves three to win it against the Bee’s and at the same time give himself a new career high.
2. Twans 3 free throws to send it to OT aginst the clips here, and twan’s tip in to get that last win against the clip’s before the all star break
3……gilbert checkin in @ the scorers table against the buck’s…. the phone booth was electric and hanging on his every move….

4. twan dunking on “king smack talk” garnets head!
5. any of the games where we swept the heat!
ohhh…. and just the team as whole for the entire year. im just proud to say im wiz fan after all the critic’s wrote them off even before gil got hurt. our team can go anywhere if they play d with heart!

deshawns play was the best play of the year since there is no gil game winners this season, well yet at least.
i love charles barkley. he speaks his mind. TNT needs that, honestly people watch TNT for him. Deshawn is my favorite player in the league. but charles is a hall of fame player. everyone is entitled to their own opinions though some things charles says is idiotic, let him be. that being said, deshawn has the right to tell charles to chill, and he also has the right to call lebron overrated. but with all these quotes and things being said between the wizards, cavs, and now charles, it can also serve as a distraction instead of a type of motivation or momentum builder for the wizards. the season is over now. lets shut up and play ball. Im glad that eddie said let the players talk, but they must back it up out there on the court. if we win this series we will prove everybody wrong. if not, they were right

All three of the wins against Boston were great, but the one that really stands out for me was the second game of home and home series. We were down 14 I think in the 4th and came back and won on their home court after we had just beaten them. Caron just took over the game and that was amazing.
Can’t wait til Saturday! We will win this series!

The top three in order:
(1) Deshawn’s 3 to beat the Hornets on the road.
(2) Twan’s 3 and 3 clutch foul shots in the final 9 seconds to beat the Clippers in DC.
(3) Crushing Dallas at home on MLK Day.

I lied – I’m back 15 minutes for this during a break.
I don’t have a particular ranking of these 3, but here are my thoughts:
1. Jamison’s single-handed comeback vs. the Clips was the best clutch, one-man Wiz show this season. The last 30 seconds of regulation and the first 2 minutes of OT for the Wiz went like this (I’m not joking – check out the play-by-play): Jamison missed 3; Jamison rebound; Jamison missed free throw 1 of 2 – made second; Jamison picked up 5th foul; Jamison made 3; Jamison fouled and made all 3 free throwsl; Jamison made 3; and Jamison made another dagger 3. Someone should just make a DVD of this.
2. Season sweeps over Dallas, New Orleans, Minnesota, LA Clippers, Miami, Seattle, and Sacramento. I believe all without Gilbert Arenas in the lineup.
3a. Stevenson’s game winning 3 against NOLA. Certainly a big shot for DS but I think it is rather common with Stevenson’s 3pt shooting abilities. A very close 3b goes to Gilbert Arenas for his behind the back dribble move while still going to the basket in traffic against the 76ers recently (I think Philly’s the team?). There are like only 2 other players that can pull off the move in today’s NBA – Steve Nash and Baron Davis. The entire 76ers bench wetted their shorts after that Arenas move. And Andre Miller was lost and speechless and Philly dropped only 9 points in the fourth quarter for a devastating L. Good times all around for Wiz and Arenas fans that evening.

1. Antawn DUNK over K.G.
2. Antawn & Caron becomin all-stars again even though caron didnt play
3. Finally, Gilbert makin his return near playoffs..thats wat we needed

there talking mad stuff about the wiz on the Cavs Forum… i even seen a post that said Caron was lucky to be outta prison and AB was lucky not to be in one… all because DS dose not care to tell it like it is and now we got the excuses train going about poor LBJ’s back well all our guys were banged up last year no one said a word about that and then they got on the fact that Gil said he was the best closer in the NBA an they said o but LBJ scored 4 game winning shots in the playoff on them ” all walks” i want to beat this team and i mean bad i want it to look like we are the best in the NBA and we are playing a banged up D league team

Well they obviously loving us if they know things about our players and reading the Post’s/Time’s articles on our guys. I can’t believe that cheap shot at Caron though, but you know what, it shows and proves how strong he is as an individual; I love me some Caron.
I don’t be all up on their forums and reading the articles on their players. Things that I know about the players on the Cavs: Ummmmmmm……..Nothing. The only two players that I DO know about is Wallace and Smith, and that’s because they were both Bulls.
People don’t have to take personal shots like that.

My three best moments are (in no specific order)
1.Clinching the playoffs 4 straight years
2. Antawn’s heroic comeback against the Clips (I was there so it made it so much better)
3. Deshawn’s three to beat the Hornets.

Yeah, that is a really cheap shot at Caron. I love him even more BECAUSE of his past. He is a true example of how people can change. What a bunch of low lives. I do hope we beat the crud out of them! We HAVE to!
I have seen lots of Cavs fans trolling on WaPo and other blogs, too. They need to get a life…

- wins over boston (and dallas – remember i’m german, so anyone who’s an nba fan here is a dirk/mavericks fan…i wore my arenas jersey with an “IN YOUR FACE!”-look
)
- “the bench” highly increasing it’s skill/s – seriously, with arenas out, butler injured…i did not expect the wizards to keep playing that good (shame on me!) MUCH RESPECT TO ANTAWN!
- deshawns game winning 3…yeah, that one was sick. But also the 3 freeshots from antawn to take the one game in OT (dunno which game that was)…man that needs a lot of concentration!
