Injury Updates
Hey everyone. I’m sorry for the delay on the information but I wanted to hold off until we got word on the injuries.
First off Gil and Antawn looked good again today in practice and they are both expected to play tomorrow night with Gil most likely coming off the bench.
The Wizards did however receive another scare today in practice when Caron Butler and Darius Songaila limped off the practice court. However, the two injuries do not appear to be significant.
Butler sustained a bruised right knee (xrays were negative) and he is listed as day-to-day.
Songaila has a mild left ankle sprain and is also listed as day-to-day. We will have more information tomorrow after shootaround on what the availability for these two players will be tomorrow night.

suzie-qwiz…i think the only one practicing this time of year should be the rookies…but remeber everyone has to practice b/c we need to get the CHEMISTRY down…

I WANT CAVS SO BADLY basically because i hate Lebron. he was talking about his team injuries and said “I know every team has injuries, but no team has had the injuries that we’ve had this year,” James said. “We don’t want to be an excuse team, because we’ve never been that.” that juss pissed me off. our team definetly went through a lot more than them pretty much because our main players were getting injured while their team loses role players

Yeah, LeTravel is such a whiny crybaby! Puhleez… don’t talk to US about injuries!!!!! No pity party over here! I want LeTraveliers, too, but I want a guarantee we will beat them because if we lose, I will LOSE IT!!! Of course there are no guarantees, but I’m sure Wiz fans know what I mean. Beating them would the the BEST FEELING!!! Sweet revenge. I do think we are the better team, but we are so inconsistent that you just never know how we’re going to play, against a good team or bad.
