Antawn Jamison Joins Wizards Practice
This morning the Wizards went through a regualr team practice. Then there was one player in Wizards black practice jersey still working on his shooting with assistant coach Dave Hopla after the team practice.
Antawn Jamison is working his way back to the action from a right shoulder sprain he injured when he chased after a jumpball tipped by Caron Butler late in a game against the Bucks last Wednesday. He went through practice today and looked really good in the limited action we saw!

On his shoulder injury:
“Everything is going well. The trainers have done a great job getting me back to normal. It was good to get out there and practice today. The last couple of days I have been able to get some rest, and I feel good right now.â€
On the team:
“We want to play well in these last five games and put ourselves in the position to be playing our best basketball going into the playoffs. Every game means a lot to us. Our guys are refreshed. I had a couple of games to rest so I feel pretty good. The same goes for Gilbert (Arenas) and Caron (Butler) as well. We can really put our foot on the pedal in these last five games and do what we need to do to win all five games. We want to be able to feel good about ourselves going down the stretch.â€

I have cleared my schedule for the remaining games! And I’m going to the game on Saturday! Little did I know it would be such a big game when I got the tickets. I have club level seats, too. Very excited!

good to hear and also the C’s are resting there big guys and we should be able to pull off all 5 games the 6ers will test us but we need that to get into playoff mode. lets go get that 4th spot we dont need a hand out the team needs to step up and take that like it was ours to start with

you im very glad to see this all coming together and its nice to see that our big three is playing together…with this we are dangerous and cleveland better watch out cuz we comin to take over that 4th spot and get that homecourt advantage. God its nice to see things go our way for a change. I really do believe that we are goin to the finals this year and if not then next year. We really need that 4 spot in the playoffs but it is going to be hard to get it because Cleveland has an easy rest of the way except for one game and we have 3 hard games and 1 that could easily go either way. We just need to win all the rest of our games and have the cavs lose 2 or 3.

I love AJ, he is a class act. I love this team. I think about the Heat how they just called it quits and opted for a draft pick. Don’t you think if SeanM was still playing with the Suns he is still playing? Even the coach left the team to go scouting, what is that? This Wizards team and coaches should be commended for just being in the playoffs, the best players on this team have only played 9 games together wow! When you think about that, you have really got to give Big ups to Eddie and the young guys. But Antwan, has been solid not just this season but in the playoffs last season, I can’t wait to see the “big 5″ and the “big bench”go for it in the playoffs.

James needs to have a look at what’s happened to the Miami Cold.
I’m glad the Wiz haven’t wasted energy fretting over injuries.
Almost no NBA team has all their top players together for the whole year. We’ve had more than our share of injuries the last couple of years, but we should never get into making excuses because we haven’t had all our top guys together. That’s the exception, rather than the rule.

on topic: if the celtics decide to rest their stars against us, damn, we really have to win in order to keep the fifth spot. I definitely want the Cavs in the first round. Lately they seem more beatable than ever.

re: the blogs – on the wizards magazine show (on channel 7) sunday, the host asked Nick Young about the vlogs and Nick said that the guy who shot them stopped. Domnic and Nick were on Wizards Magazine – sundays before the NBA sunday game. Anyway, the host asked them about Dominic moving out of the house. Dominic said it was time to move on. Nick said he kicked him out, but only teasing. They were live at the ESPN restaurant and they talked about Deshawn’s 80’s party…said it was a lot of fun. Nick seems to be missing the west coast – said he didnt realize the season was so long.
