Bruce old Bud..... gotta agree with ya. Seems like the masses vote for who is in the news the most, not who is playing well this season. It happens every year. Probably 3 or 4 players voted in will be on the inactive list if history is any indicator. I'm guilty as well. I vote for Arenas every night LOL.

Also a bunch of people are being voted in into the game without being good at all. For instance alot of people form china are voting yi into the game even though alot of people have a better game than he has right now, it's funny and ridiculous that yi has more votes than caron right now. on the bright side Gil has more votes than chauncey and michael redd combined despite having played only a handful of games

you know what pissed me off about the all star game? It's all the bum centers on the roster before the season even starts. I'm amazed they close the selections before players even get a chance to prove themselves. Haywood is better than 90 percent of them at the very least defensively.

Bogut, Andrew Milwaukee
Curry, Eddy New York
Dalembert, Samuel Philadelphia
Howard, Dwight Orlando
Ilgauskas, Zydrunas Cleveland
Krstic, Nenad New Jersey
Okafor, Emeka Charlotte
O'Neal, Jermaine Indiana
O'Neal, Shaquille Miami
Pachulia, Zaza Atlanta
Wallace, Ben Chicago
Wallace, Rasheed Detroit

I have to agree with you Millie Mill. Haywood should get Most Improved Player..
I don't know about NY1 playing last night. I personally think it would have been too much for him being a rookie. Blatche played some minutes but not as much as he usually does. I think this was a game for the Vets. EJ wasn't taking any chances..

Sometimes AD makes me cringe with his long range shots. I just wish he would continue to take it to the hoop, though I know you should change your game, but those 3ptrs he attempts makes me nervous..

I think Haywood should earn some kind of award this year. Maybe "Most Improved". What do you guys think?

Rick... don't feel alone. It is taking all of us a little while to adapt to the new and improved Haywood. We were all used to the old Haywood lol.

ok, so i may be one of the biggest haywood detractors, but if he continues this level of play, i may have to come around.

i thought it was a fun game to watch last night. stevenson was unconscious. my only disappointments were:

1) not seeing any of nick young
2) letting quinn get 22 points

I like Daniels on offense. He knows the sets, and controls the game. He can get to the rim and knock down shots. But how does he let chriss quinn shoot so many wide open 3's?

Brian... there is one that has this board at about a 50/50 split. I agree with you, so you are already in trouble lol. I have always thought that AD should be running the team and Gil should be the 2. I think if Gil played the 2 his numbers would "increase" not decrease. The only negative aspect I can think of would be on defense. We didn't get to see much of Gil in Coach Ayer's system, but, he isn't known much for his defense. I don't think Gil could have shut Wade down like Stevenson did.

It will be very interesting to see how and where Gil fits into the team when he comes back.
