10:25 AM…dave johnson checking in..back home and BLOGCAST should be back…becasue I know the internet works at Verizon Center..yes defense cost us down the stretch…negative–we have had a collection of games that we could have won–bulls, hawks, pacers, and last night nets(i know you can’t win them all but wish we could have grabbed two of those)—but still despite all the injuries a chance to get though the first 2 months of the season with a winning record….this  team has really worked hard..hope that hard work is rewarded tonight…check bak later…BLOGCAST starts at 7

6:30PM…Dave and Glenn checking..ready to blog and ready to win..no Antonio Daniels tonight…and too early to tell about Detroit….thanks for the posts today…laughing about chenierfans comments about the noise…. it is loud in alot of arenas..but new jersey is actually one of the quieter ones….

6:45PM…starters are in….mason, stevenson, haywood, jamison, butler……wade, davis, barron, haslem, wright…

7:10pm…Jumoke shot some pre-game behind the scenes stuff for us again. He has a couple shots of Daniels warming up, Blatche receiving a gift and Haywood talking about boxing.

5:05AM….Dave Johnson checking in from New Jersey..in fact I can see the Meadowlands–Giants Stadium from my hotel room…BLOGCAST starts at 7:30…radio broadcast with running blog….hope it works this time..internet did not last time and Glenn and I were only able to blog into the 1st quarter..cross your fingers….lost a heartbreaker here last time 87-85 and we have dropped five straight at this place to the Nets…the Nets are only 6-11 at home this year….did a nice job in the last meeting with the Nets at Verizon Center of limiting Richard Jefferson–we’ll see if that is the same game plan tonight….Antonio Daniels did practice yesterday…doubtful for tonight..I am thinking we will see him Wednesday agai

7:05PM..gang we are having inet problems…i have tried six times to post keep getting knocked off.. check back at half

5:21AM…Dave Johnson checking in from Charlotte…I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday…I enjoyed a special Christmas eve tracking Santa with my 8-year old son on the NORAD web site. After tearing through the wrapping paper–made it here to Charlotte yesterday……Caron Butler again went through shooting drills….apparently he looks good..but will be a game time decision with that sprained right ankle that kept him out of Saturday’s loss to the Pacers..and it is encouraging about Antonio Daniels….as we mentioned last week on the blog–his recovery time for his sprained knee closer to two weeks..could be back by the end of the week..BLOGCAST starts at 7…hope you can join us.
