5:14 AM…Dave Johnson checking in…we arrived here in Philadelphia about 3:30 AM. ..team will have a fim session later tdoay….a tip of the hat to the Spurs..they were better on a night when the Wizards were not bad…consider that the Wizards shot 47% against the Spurs and only had ten turnovers…Tony Parker’s penetration and points proved to be too much..and the Spurs loaded up defensively on Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler….Butler’s shooting % was fine .. he was 5 of 9…but that was the problem only 9 shots…as Eddie Jordan said. it is not much as looking at what they didn’t do but learning from how the Spurs got to be the champions…check in later

yea they showed how good a team they were. I like the ball movement they had and the defense they put on our guys.

I just commented along these lines in the previous set of comments. They are *really* good, and we played them well in their house. We’d have beaten most teams last night.

Exactly!!! Know your role, and you too will shine, if you do your job. Caron can be a good foundation to build upon….but right now, do the wizards have a foundation to build upon?

dave johnson checking in again… i think we are all agreed…the spurs were better but i have been going to San Antonio a lot of years..and I was happy at least we gave ourselves a shot…a win in Philly would be huge….I remember saying in Atlanta when we were 0-5 and before Gilbert went down– i thoiught with schedule–more road than home– that it would be impressive to get out of this month 8-8…i think i will opg have a philly cheese steak for good luck….

hey ironically i gad one for lunch 2day 2 dave! they are good, can’t beat a good philly cheese steak, just can’t…..well maybe with some chips or fries on the side…..and if we beat philly that would be nice 2 lol.
