Hey Wizards fans…just a little update from practice today:
“Washington Wizards forward/center Oleksiy Pecherov sustained a right ankle sprain today (Sunday) during practice. X-rays were negative.”
Don’t forget…Dave and Glenn will be back on Wednesday as the team opens the 07-08 season on the road in Indiana. Get your questions ready…they will be blogcasting live!

No word on how serious it is? It must be more than just a twist if they x-rayed it.

If the x-ray were negative it can’t last any longer than (at the very most) a month or something like that… let’s hope it’ll be quick…

Brian Chase - the 5′8″ guard who played for us in the Summer - was just waived by the Heat. Maybe we’ll see him again in DC? The Pistons waived their 2d round choice, Sammy Meija (to whom they’d given a partially guaranteed contract). Put that down to Jarvis’s excellent play!

Tom my friend we aren’t going to see anyone else on the team barring injury. Abe has never payed the luxury tax, and, I doubt he has any intensions of paying it this year. Whats we gots is whats we gots lol.
True….. very nice to see Mr. Hayes play well! We will always have fond memories of him. It’s really a shame of how his knee situation was handled. It really could have been one surgery and done… oh well… nice to see he found another Niche.
