VIDEO: PECH AT UKR FESTIVAL
Oleksiy Pecherov is the Guest of Honor at the fifth annual Washington Ukrainian Festival in Silver Spring, Maryland at Saint Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. Pecherov talks with Wizards Magazine Jumoke Davis about this annual event, the traditional Ukrainian food, the growing popularity of basketball in Ukraine, and also shows off a little Ukrainian dance moves.

i like his jumpshot alot especially with hopla as our shooting coach, he already can rebound. all he needs is strength so people don’t constantly go at him

Can/does he rebound? That’s something I’ve been wondering. Does he stay on the perimeter?

he’s said to be relentless on the boards. will probably get easy rebounds due to length and will have more once he gets more weight and strength.

“Relentless on the boards”? That’s great news. Do you remember where you heard that Bruce? I think I remember reading that he “likes to mix it up on the inside”. It really will be interesting to see whether he, Blatche, or Songaila gets time at C when Thomas gets hurt (as usual).
