WIZARDS ANNOUNCE 2007 PRESEASON SCHEDULE
The Washington Wizards released today their eight-game 2007 preseason schedule in preparation for the 2007-08 NBA season. The Wizards’ 2007 preseason schedule includes a home game against Zalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania), as well as a match-up with the Dallas Mavericks at the nearby Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University. In addition, Washington will travel to Cleveland (10/9), Philadelphia (10/14), Chicago (10/16), Atlanta (10/22), Detroit (10/24) and Toronto (10/26) for games against other Eastern Conference opposition.
Washington is one of four NBA teams participating in a league-wide initiative to host preseason games against a Euroleague opponent. The Wizards will host Zalgiris Kaunas, a Lithuanian based team owned by former NBA player Arvydas Sabonis, on Friday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Verizon Center.
“We have a competitive preseason schedule that will provide our fans the opportunity to see our team play locally on two separate occasions,†said Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld. “Our fans will get an up-close look at our exciting team as we prepare for the upcoming season by hosting a preseason game against the Dallas Mavericks at the Patriot Center, as well as a home game at Verizon Center against Zalgiris Kaunas.â€

Bullet’s fans would remember the “Bruise Brothers,” Jeff Ruland and Rick Mahorn knocking punks down to the floor and Jeff Malone bombing 3’s. Those were the days.

i severly hate the cavs…. the spurs are the only team that i hate almost as much as them… but i was happy to see san antonio give them the broom…. like they did to the wiz…

I don’t like the Raptors. I don’t like the team or their coach. It’s just something about them that just turns me off. Right behind them is LeBUM James and the Cavs.
We all know the reason the Wiz got swept. IMO it wasn’t that legit because you see what happened to them..

This preseason will be interesting, I can’t wait to see how the center position (which I hope will still move on) will be and I also wanna see how D-mac and NY fit the squad.
If everyone drops his personnal hate message I’ll have my own 
I hate Queen LaBron and his squad and it’s just about the same for the fake dynasty spurs! I don’t really like the raptors cuz they’re way too lucky when they play against us (remember this full court bucket Bosh or someone else had at the buzzer and this now famous 3 pointer that looked more like a 6 years old tryin to score a bucket). I’m okay with the rest of the teams (except for the bobcats who tried to kill Gil and Kobe but this far he still ain’t a team by himself ).

I dislike the spurs, because of how they were fouling in the spurs series. That series was just a mess. Bloodied nash’s nose, fouled him so hard two players jumped onto the court and got suspended one game, one game had questionable calls ( i think game three) and they went on with it without any sense of sportsmanship, It’s BS that they pretend otherwise. I don’t like them cause they are pretensious. NOw back to my usual message about wizards pre season.. HOw much are the tickets cause i’m poor ? and Erm kill them all…

We’re getting better and younger. While the Heat is getting older. I have a feeling the tide will turn in our favor where the Heat is concerned. The Pistons, Dallas, and the Spurs use to beat us a lot too. We finally made it over those humps. It will be the same for the HEAT..

I’m really interesting how Wizards will play against Zalgiris Kaunas. Zalgiris is one of the best european basketball team but they will lose something about 15-20 points. I didnt know that they will have a chance to play with Wizards.
And I don’t think that Pecherov will be play in Wizards Starting Lineup in 2007/2008 season. He’s to young and he dont have an experience in NBA. But maybe next year…
