dont know if someone is still replying and looking at this blog, but i got great news, the warriors have just waived adonal foyle, so maybe we can somehow send haywood and taylor(cant believe im sayin this, but maybe he'll thrive in gs) for foyle? seems like a fair trade to me, haywood is experienced in playin uptempo ball, and we get a center that averaged 2.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.04 blocks in only 10.0 minutes this past season(besides, that ten minutes is kinda false, bcuz beidrins was in there to score and get re's) but he averaged a block in only ten minutes, just imagine what he could do on a daily nba schedule with about twenty to twenty seven minutes a game with the wizards.
and we also signed dmac, so with dmac, deshawn, foyle, ruffin, and songaila, that gives us much more defensive depth to work with this season. hey, even booth was getting blocks and successful shot attempts when he got playing time the next season. foyle may just be the missing piece to out puzzle. scorer arenas/jamison/young steals caron/gilbert/daniels / blocks and putbacks foyle/etan/pech(?)/

They must be figuring Mason as a role player - to shoot 3's late in the game if we're behind. I hope he does a better job this year than last.

I don't think McGuire or Hall are signed. Otherwise the Wiz would have sent a copy of the contract to the league and it would appear on hoopshype. Maybe the Wiz sent them contracts and they sent them back signed but the Wiz haven't signed off.

Eric -- Mason has *negative* win score numbers. That means when he is on the court, we are in some measure giving away our chance to win.

Btw, this doesn't mean that Roger Mason can't play the game of basketball, or that he is a bad person. It's just statistics talking. The conclusion is that he doesn't have an NBA game. If he is on the roster for his effect in the locker room, or because he gives a good example in re: professionalism, fine -- but he does not contribute to winning games.

Does anyone know yet what the "protected" part of the draft pick for Mr. Navarro will be?

TM - "Every minute he is in the game takes away from our chance to win it."? Sorry, but there are few NBA players that have that kind of effect on a team for every minute he's playing. But then again, I am open to statistical evidence (+/-, W/L) :) .
