Wow the month of november is going to be a challenge! its to early to say that it will prove how far we can go, but it will show how good we are, or how much we have improved from last season.

okay middleton, what about new jersey, they gave us trouble and they do have a 7 deep roster. carter, jefferson, kidd, kristic, the back up pg, mcglorie, and the new rookie. the pacers are not talented but jermaine oneal is a PF and we all no twan cant gaurd him, golden state isnt exactly a pushover definitely since arenas is to small for baron, and hello denver does have AI, Carmelo, Camby, JR, Nene, and a healthy kenyon martin. im not trying to sound negative i am just saying that the wizards have a tough november. remember last season they started off bad. Im gonna put the blame on stevenson at first for the slow start, cause it took him a while to blossom, december is when he got a groove. now he knows the system and his teammates. if u remember deshawn would play no more than 25 mins a game, mostly because his offense was not as potent, and the wizards had to much faith in jarvis, but he showed potential and now that jarvis is not in his way, he can play often. it was like when deshawn was in the offense was not productive, and when jarvis comes in the defense gets worse. deshawn continually improves, his three point shooting and open jumpers. so this is a plus for us. but the downfall of the team all year was the lack of depth on the bench as far as able bodies, offensive production, the teams defense and no post presence on offense or defense. i predict a 54-28 record for the wiz. of course winning the division.

You should have got that when EG said in a conference a month ago “We’re returning with the same line up” *LOL*

I also notice that part about the road and home uniforms are now trimmed in gold..I hope it’s not that gold from the alternative uniform..

i think november will be a challenge, but i think the wizards will be fine. was it just me or did it seem there were more road games than home games? we cant be sure that the road games will be as hard for the wizards as last season but either way i cant wait for october 31.

wow you guys give the Wizards too much credit .. Brian .. i wouldnt say its a stretch to say the Wizards could win the division but who knows ? you cant really tell cuz its too early to see whats going to happen .. look at Orlando, they just upgraded big time by getting Rashard Lewis .. and Orlando’s defense is one of the tops in the league .. so getting Lewis definetly upgraded their offense .. they have their own big three .. with Lewis .. Howard .. and Jameer Nelson .. thay won 40 games last year without a true second option .. now they have Rashard Lewis whois probably going to lead them this year in scoring .. so dont count out the Magic .. then you have the Heat .. who are always unpredictable because Pat RIley is never afraid to pull the trigger on any trades that could land them a good player that will give them immediate impact .. and IF the WIzards will win 54 games this year like you say, their defense needs to step up bigtime and no surrender 104 points a game like the last couple years .. im a big Wizards fan, im not being negative .. im just trying to keep it realisitc .. we all have expectations of our teams .. but whati have learned .. i try not to give our teams high expectations cuz in the end .. they let you down if they dont live up to your expectations .. it should be a great year for the WIzards but we’ll see

Did you guys read Gil’s last blog entry?? He definitly didn’t like how people reacted… I guess he thought people would find out but understand, no they didn’t, they didn’t like hearin Gil using an other guy’s joke. I guess he thought it wouldn’t be a problem to reuse a joke.
Some news on the Navarro’s side too. It seems like we’ll get a first round pick in return of his NBA rights. So we couldn’t trade Etan… sad…

we can use this pick into getting an Al Jefferson…we can offer all our three picks and maybe AD or BH for Al Jefferson…or we can try to get Chris Wilcox or even LaMarcus Aldridge with all of these picks…it neccesarily doesnt have to be one of these players i wouldnt mind Camby or another good player suchs as Emeka…and..Roy Hibbert…he will drop that low..there are about 3 center rated better than him and if doesnt drop as i said there are still 3 more to chose from

STU ur right! it is to early to give the wizards this much cred, but that comment was made because an NBA analysts said the wizards will fight the knicks for the eight spot! LOSER! we are definitley the top 4! anyway the magic will definitely have a good season, i should know i live in orlando! any news in washington about new moves?

I have no doubt that we are going to be more better this season than any other one because am sure that Agent Zero is going to help us with his scoring as he has been trying very hard to increase his shooting ability even though he is one of the best shooters in the NBA. And also with Antawn, Caron, Young and the others, surely we will be in the first three teams of the East. I am an African living in The Gambia but i am always on the internet to read news about my team (Wiz) and the NBA at large.

Too bad that Wizards let Aaron Miles signed overseas.
    http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2007/aug/08/miles_headed_spain/?sports

They need a 3rd string PG. Miles is a better, more natural PG than either Mason or Taylor.

well my comment goes out to coach Eddie and boss Ernie. I think they should try to make a deal for Jermaine O´ńeil of the Pacers as he is in the market. We all know what it means having him in the Wizards. I we should find a way to get the great player in the team.

The latest rumor that i heard swirling around as of today was that the wizards might get in on the “Jermaine O’Neal Sweepstakes”. I heard that if the wizards was to get him they would give up Brendan Haywood, Antonio Daniels, Mike Hall, and Donell Taylor, and a 2nd round draft pick. That was the rumor iv’e been hearing and if that was to happen the wizards would be back at step one. NO DEPTH but thats what i heard

    Comment from Tom Mandel
    Time August 11, 2007 at 11:28 AM

I’d make that trade in a New York minute, but I can’t believe it will happen (for one thing, Donell is a FA). I don’t think O’Neal is a superstar by any means, but the trade would break up our problematic personnel problem.

champwizards there is no way the wiz could get o’neal. they can’t afford him. jermaine makes close to 20 million this season coming up. even if this trade went through with the players mentioned, the wiz would be 6 million dollars over the cap. the only hope for this to possibly make sense would be to add antawn in the mix. also jermaine would be on the wiz books for the next two seasons following next season at over 21 million and 23 million per season.
