Oh... and for the initial thread.. Kwame might have been a whole different player today had he been coached by Eddie and not Doug Collins. He may have been a different player if he hadn't been a kid having to deal with the best player of all time breathing over your shoulder and scrutinizing your every move? I actually feel sorry for the kid, and, he is still a kid really. Things could have turned out so much differently for him. I was hoping that when Phil Harmon... no.. Phil Spectre... no Philidelphia... no... Phil Jackson got him he would be able to turn him around.

Did the 7' 3" guy ever get on the court? Did he ever get on the bus? Were they not able to get him out of the casinos? Did the team go to dinner and he walked out on the check and was never heard from again? I don't remember ever seeing him?

I note that Pinckney is getting very little opportunity to show himself off. He may have picked the wrong summer league team, given that he is a 4 and we have a handful of them already!

Oh, I agree McGuire is terrific.

Watched the game against the Cavs, and we saw a bit more out of Nick in the second half. You do have to keep in mind that in essence he is a teenager!

OP played well and so did McGuire (though he made a few mistakes, letting us know that he is human after all). Miles was solid. I sure hope he is invited to camp. Ditto Visser. I know what you mean about Homan throwing himself around -- but really so does Visser. Again, I hope he is invited to camp.

On the head Tom... Except for Dmac. After you watch the game you will see. He still had all the broadcasters talking about him. A couple very cool blocks!

Pech and DMac are Keepers. Mr. Young needs to show me a lot more before he breaks into my second string line up. I'd like to see Pech get in the weight room a little and work on his upper body. He needs some more Beef. Do we have the technology yet to insert Jarrod Homan's hustle, grit, and conditioning into Kyle Visser's body? WOW... combine those two and you have something. Apart...not so much (sigh). I wish Mr. Visser had come into the summer league in a bit better shape? Aaron Miles will have a hard time getting a contract, but, that doesn't mean he shouldn't. That guy, game after game, runs the team flawlessly, shoots fairly well, and has the quickness to have his defense improve. I think he has played better in each consecutive game. If there is a spot for him, fine. I'm not willing to give up AD for him, though. AD has much more court Savvy.

Like Gil, Young needs to stop shooting alot of 3's if he's not "on".
Take it to the basket!
I love Mcguire and he'll be a great fit on this team.
Pech has some range and he goes after rebounds.
I think Miles makes the team along with Hall.

Young's overall numbers were not good tonight -- 14 shots and 9 free throw attempts to net 18 points. 5 turnovers, only 3 rebounds. I'll have it on the dvr to watch tomorrow, but it sounds like he came through in the 4th quarter.

Nick has a ton of talent, but right now he doesn't seem to have an NBA game. His handle is loose, he is a black hole, and he can't finish at the rim yet. I think he'll develop, but I sure wouldn't be penciling him in for lots of minutes yet -- the way I see people doing on this blog.

Pecherov had another excellent game on the other hand. And Miles keeps looking solid. McGuire came back to earth a little bit tonight, by the numbers at least. But, he contributed all the same.

I hope some of you guys watched the game!! First win and not just a win,a win against Cleveland ;) Good performance by Young, Pech, D-mac and Miles mainly. The Wiz started very slowly and then got into the game. They were traling by 4 at the half and won by 5 76-71. Pech and Young knocked some big shots during the last minutes to secure the win.
