BOYS OF SUMMER GET A DAY OFF
The Wizards Summer League team received a day of rest from their five game schedule on Thursday. Washington is back in action on Friday when they take on the Houston Rockets (10 PM ET/11 PM on Comcast SportsNet).
Through the team’s first two games, Nick Young is pacing the team in scoring with 15.5 points per game. His low shooting percentage is a product of a poor shooting first contest (11 points, 3-14 FGA), but he regrouped and found his touch in the team’s second game (16 points, 8-16 FGA). Young also demonstrated that while his jump shot is silky smooth, he may be the best leaper on the Wizards roster after three soaring slams against the Pistons. Mike Hall (12 ppg) is showing how much a year of NBA experience can calm the nerves, while Dominic McGuire is earning a legion of fans through his solid play (11 ppg, team-high 6.5 rpg).
Speaking of days off, just wanted to give you guys a heads up that beginning next Wednesday, the blog may be a little slow as I’ll be out of the country (the Philippines specifically) for a few weeks. You’ll still be able to post comments and we’ll keep up to date with any news but random posts and trivia (no giveaways!) will be on the slow side. Who knows – maybe I’ll pop my head in now and then.

we should have inflatable wizards tunnels which is for wizards come to the court from locker.

TM – funny enough, it actually might be hotter here. Rainy season is around this time back in the Philippines – the forecast is pretty much the same every day: partly cloudy, chance of PM thunderstorms, highs in the mid-high 80’s. But when it rains, it RAINS.

wow can’t believe your going there that’s where am from. but have fun and stay safe. last time my parents where in the Philippines there was a thypoon. hopefully it stays sunny.
