TOUGH JUICE TALKS HOOPS, UPCOMING CAMP
Caron Butler met with several members of the media Tuesday at Verizon Center. Below are the entire interviews with WUSA-9’s Levan Reid and Comcast SportsNet’s Chick Hernandez.
Topics touched on in the clips include his camp, how he’s recovered from the hand injury, the Wizards and Cavs (who would’ve won if Washington was healthy), the state of the team, and who will win the NBA title (think Eastern Conference).
Butler will host his first annual 3-D basketball camp for boys and girls ages 8-16 at Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland. The cost for the camp is $300, registration is available until Monday, June 18 online at www.3dbasketballcamp.com. The camp will take place Monday, June 18 – Friday, June 22, 2007 (9 a.m - 4 p.m.).

Yeah, Caron is the man. He’s very down to earth as well as extremely humble. I definately would like to meet him some day. I’m already excited about next year.

Brick - I want to say this about Caron: considering he’s an NBA All-Star, you’ll be hard pressed to meet another professional athlete who understands how lucky and blessed he is. It’s almost like the guy pinches himself every morning. A great player, an even better person.

I’m all in Tough Juice and ready to roll into battle !Next year 2007 thru 2008 season!
You will cometh with plenty and hopefully get us that championship! We fans want so much !
I feel you can expand your mid-range and short-range all the way back to three-point range next year!
If you are successful in covering all three ranges then you will definitely be a handful to cover!
If you spead that defensive mindset to your teammates we could be as good as San Antonio defensively!Steals,Blocks,Traps and lockdown defense is needed!

It’s good to see Caron and especially to see him smiling and laughing like that you know. He seem pretty confident and realistic about what we have to do next year (as everybody else do) and he confirmed what I thought, just that they didn’t feel the weakness in the D cuz they were so hot they thought they might make it only with their hot shooters’ hands… A lil thing I’ve seen, DeShawn is on the lil “next season tickets plan” video, is that a hidden message
