agentzero,

This is in response to your post in the old board which is not moved over.

I think with Arena and Butler out, and Hayes has not shot consistently, Wizards need more help in perimeter players not the big men. Once Blatche comes back, they will be full strength for their big men. Blatche can play some at SF, but does not have consistent outside shots either.

Regarding Brendan, I am aware of the fight between him and Etan where the management had determined that was mainly Etan's fault and suspended Etan for it. Is there any new fight?

Some random thoughts...

This team has terrible Kharma at home games - from that dead duck of shot that Vince Carter made back in November to the rash of injuries to Jamison, Butler, Blatche and now Arenas.

Did you know that "arenas" is the spanish word for "sands" - Gilbert Sands just doesn't have the same ring to it.

That guy Herrman on the Bobcats reminds me of Fabio.

The bad Kharma will turn around next year. Jamison and Arenas and Songaila should PLEASE stay out of international b-ball this summer. Just rest up for the season ahead.

The next few games will be big for the Wizard reserves, particularly Hayes. It's time to see if he is a legit NBA player. This stretch of games could be make or break for him. Either way, he is one cool looking dude!

I don't think we'll see much of Haywood from here on out. It looks like he'll be sent packing where he will be a marginal player where ever he lands.

Quite frankly, with all the times Gilbert hits the deck each game, I'm suprised he has been as durable as he has been.

It will be fun to see Blatche get some licks in the playoffs.

It's too bad the way things have turned out because I really think the Wiz are better this year then last. Stephenson is an upgrade over Jeffries, Songaila and Blatche make for a stronger bench. If they could have stayed healthy, I think they were a 50+ win team. But the same could be said of a few other teams as well. You need some luck along the way.

There are a lot of reasons to be optimistic for next year (see above). Maybe that Russian kid they drafted last year can play center.

Hi I am sorry and feel for Arenas, he is a excellent player and a star. however i don't feel bad for the Washington Wizards as an organization. I hope they never win a championship for what they did to MJ. Ithink Arenas will do will in a nother leave like the Bulls or even Toronto.
