Trina - CB’s was definitely farther.
But Sheed’s was slightly more ridiculous because it forced OT…and the other team had possession.

Both shots were nice, but I am partial to Caron’s shot!

I don’t buy that stuff about pressure on Rasheed’s shot. He may have been desperate but it’s not like missing a normal shot or a free throw. If he misses that long shot, it’s just another desperate heave that missed. No one would blame him and he wouldn’t be that upset about it either. Therefore, not much pressure + shorter distance = Caron’s shot is cooler.

Sheed’s shot was a mere 63ft.
Caron’s shot was a whooping 78ft.
If you look at it this way.
Sheed’s shot forced OT but remember we won by 3pts last night.
So Caron’s shot really helped us win the game.
Thanks for posting my vid up.

Nara - doesn’t the same thing apply to CB’s shot? And wouldn’t you say that in the grand scheme of the game’s outcome (at the time the shot was taken), that Rasheed’s shot was a “bigger” basket?
IMHO (which I’m sticking to
), if Caron’s shot came at the end of the game to force OT, it’s in the same fruit basket. Caron’s was more like Bosh and LBJ’s buzzer beaters.
Rasheed’s shot is going to be one of those you’ll see on NBA highlight videos for years to come.

wizdom -
The thing I loved about Caron’s shot was the fluid motion of it. Ridiculous.
I’m with you on the point on how those three points were necessary, that’s why my statement above was worded the way it was.
Thanks for the vid.

MAN WHAT A SHOT!!!! nice to see Butler back, i just don’t understand why we struggle so much without him!!! i really do hope that we can win the rest of the season out so that we can stay in first place in out division and that we win the title!!!! hopefully the lost that toronto gave miami will make them suffer for a while and they just keep on losing lol. i hope that we can play well tomorrow and beat then raptors down and take back the number three spot!

As much as i hate to say it i think wallace shot was better because he had to take it and try to make it go to overtime which isn’t easy. butler though was further we already had the lead and that just put the icing on the cake, but i know if i was at the detriot game and wallace made a shot like that to take it to overtime i would have just gone CRAZY lol

That’s right CB3 that was a good one. They don’t call him tough juice for nothing.
