No energy for the Wizards in the first half. Neither team is taking advantage of the situation. A bunch of missed shots and turnovers. Arenas not playing well.

What channel are they playing on? Can they be viewed on any DC stations? I thought it was on the CW.

Washington needs to put this team away. Letting them hang around, allowing them to have motivation…NOT GOOD..Jamison seems to be the only playerthat came to play. 1st half 18 points..

Let’s go WiZZZZ

Nice win.

Just as on friday night — it was Jamison and Haywood winning on an off night for Gil. But tonight Caron was on as well.

Eric — do you know what has become of Blatche? He had a few strong games, and then he totally fell out of the rotation! Any inside info?

Tom - no idea why Blatche has lost minutes as of late (even if I did there’s no way I could tell - sorry!)

I will tell you what happened to Blatche, EJ has no idea what he is doing! The TEAM is the reason we are #1 in the East; not the coaches. EJ doesn’t play anyone consistent besides the BIG 3. I am glad we are winning; however EJ needs to get a consistent rotation. What is something happened to one of the BIG 3? We will be in big trouble because the bench has no consistency and therefore cannot grasp their rhythm. Playing his starters 40+ minutes per game is going to have them burnt out during play-offs…. just as they were the past 2 years.

Yes these wins look good, but lets look how we are getting these wins. EJ needs to do a better job at getting other players involved. That is the difference between having a good team and a great team! How are Daniels, Hayes, Blatche and Thomas going to find a rhythm if they are playing inconsistent minutes? If the bench played 40 minutes per game they would be in double digits as well. They may not be comparable to Arenas or Butler, but they would make an impact with consistent minutes and rotations. Think about it…….

Congrats on the Win tonight Guys!

No offense Anonymous, but if you think EJ has NOTHING to do with the team being in first place, you know little about the NBA. The team is 9 games over .500 and it’s because of the “TEAM”? You gotta be kidding…

The players on the bench know their roles - they don’t NEED to average double-figures in points to be effective. They need to know their roles and I think they do.

Sorry - comments like those really irk me.

That may be true wizardsdotcom; I think EJ does have something to do with the team winning. I take that back. He is a decent coach with incredible players and player potential. I know that comment was harsh, but I am not trying to bash EJ.

However I do not agree with you in the statement regarding the bench knowing their roles. I do feel as though they do not need to be top scores or in double digits each game; however they don’t know their roles. A team like Phoenix knows their roles. San Antonio knows their roles.

Although the BIG 3 have been the major contributors thus far, they are going to need some consistent help from the remaining 2 starters and the bench.

I think this team is so good; however there is something that separates this team from being great. Any idea in terms of what it is?

I hear what you’re saying Anonymous, but I don’t know that we’re that far off in terms of knowing roles. AD knows he’s going to come in and play either of the guard positions. Jarvis is going to spell either the two or three. Etan will give Haywood a rest late in the first. I think Etan’s injury, and Jarvis coming back slowly might have slowed us down in terms of setting a rotation, but I hear your concerns and understand where you’re coming from. But I don’t think the team is that far off from establishing a solid bench rotation, especially once Songaila comes back.

Thanks for the reply - and sorry if I sounded upset earlier. Eddie is not only a good coach, he’s a better person (cliche as it may be - it’s true. he’s absolutely one of the nicest guys you’ll meet in this league.)
