Nice sign, Jarvis knocks down his first three attempt.

Wizards up 8 after one. Could’ve been 10, but Arenas missed a potential buzzer-beating layup which was preceded by a Haywood block on his former teammate, Tyronn Lue.

TRIVIA QUESTION:
Without researching, which Wizards player played in all 82 games last season?
A)Jamison
B)Butler
C)Arenas
(the guy in-game picked the wrong one…)

For your question I would say Jamison .. Not sure about this one. By the way I Hope the guys will make it tonight we have to end this horrible 4lost serie!!

Jamison is correct!
James Lang has checked in.

At the half, Wizards by 6, 55-49.
Antawn Jamison, who spoke yesterday about the importance of this game, is backing it up with 16 points and three boards at the half.

W4L - I’ve seen him play in practice/training camp. Real soft hands, nice touch around the basket. But definitely a young, raw talent.

More on Lang - Coach said the reason for activating him wasn’t so much for him to make an immediate impact, but more to reward him for the hard work he’s put in over the past two months and to get him some minutes. Remember, up til those 30 seconds he had yet to see any NBA action.

That’s 2 blocks by Haywood on former teammate Tyronn Lue.

Wizards have opened it up here at the start of the fourth capped off by Hayes’ second three of the game.

I don’t have the benefit of listening to my good friends Steve Buckhantz and Phil Chenier, but I’m sure they’ve mentioned that Caron Butler’s FT streak keeps extending as he’s now 14-14.

Hawks keep hitting big shots, especially TLue, who has 16.

November 28th, 2006 at 9:25 PM

November 28th, 2006 at 9:26 PM
Wizards win 96-95.
November 28th, 2006 at 9:26 PM
Nice hustle by Hayes on that last play.
Unfortunately, Hawks ball down one, 10 seconds left…

Wiz win…finally. Arenas still is strugglng…he was 7-19 shooting. Had 7 assists(though 5 of those assists came in the first few minutes of the game). He continues to turn it over too much. 7 TO’s the last game and 9 tonight. It’s getting out of hand. They could have lost if Johnson hit that shot. He clearly outplayed Gil tonight.
November 28th, 2006 at 10:13 PM
last two turnovers of Gil are questionable.(The defensive player is moving???) He caught one when he got rebound that didn’t touch the ring so 24 seconds violation. One turnover came from the pass to Jamison, who was held by Smith( I believe) the pass is not that high and Jamison could’ve grab it. Another one is when he passed the ball to Butler to go on fastbreak. The only bad passes was to Hayes. I hate to say that but anonymous, please watch the game and criticize about turnovers.

its not the first time arenas has had a charge in the last 2 min of a game either
