Wizards Sign Four to Training Camp Roster

Washington Wizards President of Basketball Operations Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has signed Mike Hall, James Lang, Roger Mason Jr. and Kevinn Pinkney. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

It’s good that the wiz are looking to create some competition at the center position.Maybe it will give Etan and Brenda the added incentive to bring more than they have become comfortable with in seasons past. A little competition never hurts.

Pinkney and Hall are pretty good players and I am glad to see the Wiz stir up the pot a little. Very interesting! That’s what I like about Ernie, you just never know what is up his sleeve.

Nice camp invites… we’ve got a pretty crowded roster, but it’s great to have some competition! We have to decide about Pecherov, which gives us 15 players. If he goes overseas it could open a spot for someone like Hall, who is a good looking player. Lang could possibly battle for a roster spot with Ramos, who has been a bit disapointing but is still only 21.

I agree it will give brenda and the poet some competition….but I am hoping they are better than brenda and the poet, so we can get rid of them. PJR is gone and OPie will stay, if the FO is half decently smart. Booth should retire…so should brenda and the poet, for that matter.

Being the cousin of Kevinn and knowing just how hard this young man has work to get to this point. The wiz fans will be glad & blessed to have him in their camp. Being a west coast Lakers fan, I really wish we had him in our camp. I wish the best for these young men. Yes! It will be very interesting…
