I watched the wizards all of the 2005 season. If you, truly believe the wizards will miss Jeffries think again. Let's hold back the tears and take a look at the previous season. Who did Jeffries shout down from scoring. Check the archives every person he was assigned to stop from scoring big during the game, eventually the opposing player scored their statistical average or higer. He nothing but an ok defender, sub par rebounder and not prolific scorer at all. The wizards have tremendous debt with the two acquisitions signing. Sorry, I know how much Jarred may have meant to the Washington Wizards. However, enjoy yourself in New York give Isaiah a headache for blown defensive assignments.

I hate to see JJ leave us, hes been a big asset to our team. If you a big Wiz fan like me you hate to see him go. We keep losing good players, first Larry Hughes, huge part of our team, now Jeffries, i dont know, what ever happens happens. Just looking foward to this season

GO WIZARDS!!!

I think they should match the offer, then trade him to Indiana. That's where he really wants to be so let him play for his home team. He will be happy so his play should improve and if he doesn't WANT to be in DC, LET HIM GO. We don't need any negative thinking or attitudes ala Chucky Adkins. I mean he can go to New York, but playing under Isiah Thomas is like being in the Special Ed program. You will learn but at a really, r-e-a-l-l-y slow pace...and you're not gonna win many games.

ok lets look at the pros and cons and believe me there are more con them pros. pros jeffries is a body that is it doesn't score big numbers but has solid defense. Now, Isiah is a fool to pay hime the offer sheet is trying to give him the only way i would pay out that much money if he(jefferies) was putting up number like Carmelo. now way i put up the cash. if i were the wizard i would look towards the future of my team and let the guy go take some draft picks and look at the college team and she what new prospects are out there. Because if you really follow basketball you would know that this years draft was graded at like in D+ in my opinon. next years draft has all the player who were going to jump to the league for the 2006-2007 season so who is the bigger fool the wizards for losing another avgerage NBA player or the Knick and Isiah for forking up the cash? i let you be the judge of that. wizards dont need him to make the play-off look at the eastern conference, its not like the west were 40 games is enough so let do the right thing Ernie dump him the team and the organization doesnt need the dead wieght, we need a ring with him i dont see it coming if were you i would put my faith in number #0 gilbert.

I feel that Jared Jeffries is a very versitale play, as he can play three posistions. There is a rising need in the league at this day in age for players of that calibur, however the price tag is too high and we have rising prospects who did farely well in the summer league. I look for Blatche and Ramos to do what Jeffries has done in the past.
